A: Synergy has been and continues to be the brand name of fuels sold at Esso service stations.

Q: What is the difference between the old and the new "Synergy" fuels?
A: We have put in more additive in our new Synergy petrol which cleans your engine to help give you better fuel economy than ordinary unadditised petrol.

Our Synergy diesel now contains a proprietary marker which helps to ensure that you are getting quality Esso's diesel. It continues to help provide excellent detergency performance that helps improve fuel economy when compared to ordinary unadditised diesel.

Q: I used to fill Synergy 8000/Synergy 5000/Synergy 2000, what is it called now?
A: Synergy 8000 is now called Synergy Supreme+. Synergy 5000 is now called Synergy Extra, Synergy 2000 is now called Synergy Regular.

Q: What do the different grades of petrol do for my engine?
